The company Tecnomyl, within its Social and Environmental Responsibility Program, promotes a number of visits to its plant in Villeta, so residents of the area, executives and authorities can learn about the internal processes of environmental care, in this way positioning itself as an model company in the Social and Environmental Management within its field.
On the eve, representatives of the municipality and the Fishermen Association of Villeta carried out the tour through the industrial plant, who besides learning all the mitigation measures that Tecnomyl implements, the internal and external processes of environmental care, were also explained on what consists the good practices training that is done with clients and allies.
The agricultural defensives industry counts with ISO certification, both in Environmental Management and Quality Management, besides the permanent governmental and international agencies evaluation in many of the internal processes.
The Coordinator of Tecnomyl’s Environmental Management, Laura Martinez, stated that the plant is adapted to the international standards of sustainability and care of the water resources.
“Tecnomyl has an effluent treatment plant which efficiency is monitored permanently by international laboratories and not even rainwater is eliminated without a previous analysis that guarantees that the very same complies with the legal requirements”, Martinez explained.
